A New Beginning After Loss

One of the contact persons told us what participating in this project meant for her and her family.

The aid project came into her life shortly after she and her husband lost their youngest son. They were engulfed in grief and emotionally closed off.

The project, she says, was like a helping hand reaching out to them—a "window" that reopened their hearts to life, to love, and to others.

She likens their situation to a butterfly trapped in a jar—thanks to this initiative, they were finally able to fly again. In helping others, they too received comfort, joy, and peace. It was a mutual exchange of support that brought light into their lives.
